JOPLIN AND JAMPOL: Veteran music exec Jeff Jampol's Jampol Artist Management, which handles The Doors, as well as the estates of Jim Morrison, Gram Parsons, Peter Tosh and Rick James, was cited for his work with the late Janis Joplin in a N.Y. Times Arts & Leisure story which ran last Sunday here. Jampol was brought in by the family of the late blues shouter to oversee and manage her legacy, which includes all recordings, publishing, film/TV, apparel, licensing, book, theatrical and PR worldwide. Jampol also just launched the company’s new website, www.wemanagelegends.com. He was not at Woodstock. (10/5a)
