eMusic Adds UMG

EMUSIC GOES UNIVERSAL: eMusic has now completed a deal to license a substantial portion of the Universal Music Group catalog, with approximately 250,000 tracks, specific to the U.S., available starting in November. That brings the eMusic selection to roughly 10 million individual songs, with the UMG content now being curated and integrated into the site by eMusic’s editorial team for next month's launch.
