Vevo Tops MTV

MTV VS. VEVO, CONTINUED: The battle between MTV and Vevo over online video payments and online advertising continues in the media. Sure enough, after this week’s MTV announcement about their latest ratings bonanza (see Rumor Mill item below) comes word that Vevo topped all music sites in the just-released comScore rankings for Sept. (see Rumor Mill item below). On top of that news, network topper Rio Caraeff was named to Fortune magazine’s prestigious "40 Under 40" list for the second consecutive year. Also, Vevo just debuted Gwyneth Paltrow’s new music video, the title track from her upcoming movie Country Song, which you can see here. (10/14p)
