Jackson Out at Arista
EXIT AT ARISTA: One of Clive Davis’ longtime talent execs has left the building. Arista Records President A&R and RCA Music Group EVP A&R Larry Jackson has reportedly ankled the label, Jackson was promoted to the post in Oct. 2009, reporting to RCA/Jive Label Group Chairman/CEO Barry Weiss. Jackson first joined J Records upon its inception in 2000, handling the A&R process for multi-platinum artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Whitney Houston and Monica. Before joining J, he was the MD and an on-air personality at San Francisco ’s KMEL, where he began his career as an intern. (10/15p)
