Jacking the Box Office

BASS JACKWARDS: Congrats to MTV Films' Van Toffler on a boffo opening for Jackass 3D, which led this week's box office with $50 million in grosses, and we do mean grosses, for the third installment of the long-running physical, and we do mean physical, comedy series. Most industry estimates had the movie's haul at more in the $25-30 million range, so this was a big win for Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O and the rest of the gang, who bet their own future on the results by taking back-end, and we do mean back-end.
