MORE HANDS: Guy Hands opened his testimony by telling the jurors he was a father of four and the son of a nursery school teacher who had been diagnosed aged nine with “very severe” dyslexia and dyspraxia, spending two and a half years in “special school” before attending Oxford University. The extent of the rupture between Hands and Wormsley was made clear when Hands said he had trusted the man with whom he had worked on billions of pounds worth of deals “completely,” adding, “Outside of the people with Terra Firma, he was my closest business colleague.” (10/19p)
