Soul Train Awards

SOUL TRAINING: BET aired the Soul Train Awards last night for a show which was originally taped on Nov. 10, with Usher and Alicia Keys the evening’s top winners. Usher received Album of the Year and tied with Trey Songz for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, while Keys earned Best Female R&B/Soul Artist and shared Record of the Year prize with her co-writer Drake for “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready).” Eminem earned Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “Love the Way You Lie,” his collabo with Rihanna, while B.o.B f/Bruno Mars won Song of the Year for “Nothin’ on You.” Melanie Fiona earned Best New Artist honors, while Ciara copped Best Dance Performance. Anita Baker and Ron Isley received Legend Awards during the ceremony, which was co-hosted by Terrence Howard with Taraji P. Henson. Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, Keyshia Cole, Cee Lo, Tank and Jazmine Sullivan performed. (11/29p)
