MySpace Gets Hijacked

MYSPACE HIJACKED: MySpace launched its latest initiative, “Hijacks,” today, with Black Eyed Peas, in which celebrities take over the site for three days, programming it with exclusive content at www.myspace.com/hijacks. The Peas’ takeover starts today, featuring a variety of elements, including contests, video games, music play lists, fashion and movie picks and a customized logo. Next up is Jack Black’s campaign, which hits Dec. 15 and includes a variety of “giant” promotions for his upcoming Gulliver’s Travels movie, which comes out Dec. 22. Black shot a music video of “Little Drummer Boy” with co-star Jason Segal, for the site, donating all proceeds to charity. (12/9p)
