This week, the pubbery boasts nine of the Top 10 on the Hot 100, including #1 Katy Perry’s “Firework” (Stargate), #2 P!nk’s “Rise Your Glass” (Alecia Moore), #3 Rihanna f/Drake’s “What’s My Name” (Drake and Stargate), #4 The Black Eyed Peas’ “The Time (Dirty Bit)” (Fergie and Donald Markowitz), #5 Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” (Philip Lawrence), #6 Rihanna’s “Only Girl in the World” (Cri$tyle, Stargate), #7 Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are” (Philip Lawrence), # 9 Nelly’s “Just a Dream” (Jim Jonsin and Rico Love) and #10 Trey Songz f/Nicki Minaj’s “Bottoms Up” (Chef Tone). Trey Songz’ “Can’t Be Friends” is #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, co-written by Mario Winans and Lo, both EMI clients who had the song pitched to them by Platt.
