Ina Blair Passes
INA BLAIR, 69, mother of longtime record industry exec Jerry Blair, passed away on Jan. 1. After moving with her family to New Haven, Blair obtained a degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked for the famed Dr. Dolan, who developed new treatments for Cystic Fibrosis. She then pursued a career in telecommunications as a top salesperson in Connecticut for SNET and Cablevision Lightpath. Aside from Jerry, she is survived by her daughter Michelle. A private burial for the family is being held this Sunday (1/9), followed by a memorial and celebration in the home of Jerry Blair, from 4-8 p.m., at 26 Pinnacle Rock Road, Stamford, CT 06903. (1/3p)
