Foster Inks with peermusic

FOSTER PEERS INTO THE FUTURE: L.A.-based publisher peermusic has signed an agreement with songwriter/producer David Foster to acquire the majority of his body of work as a songwriter. The acquisition encompasses all of his songs in Foster Frees Music, Air Bear Music and One Four Three Music. The announcement was made by peermusic Chairman/CEO Ralph Peer II. The 500-plus song catalog includes such hits as “I Have Nothing,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” “Glory of Love,” “The Power of the Dream,” “My Grown Up Christmas List” and “Color of My Love.” With the exception of Foster Frees Music, peermusic has been administering the songwriter/ producer’s publishing for more than 15 years. The new agreement also includes exclusive publishing representation for his future works. (1/11a)
