Guitar Hero Unplugged

GUITAR HERO UNPLUGGED: Activision Blizzard is discontinuing Guitar Hero, one of the most popular video game titles of the past decade. Music games, including Guitar Hero and Rock Band, have been unprofitable over the last few years. Viacom sold the money-losing unit behind the games to an investment firm late last year. The video game maker posted better than expected results for the fourth quarter, but issued a week outlook for the current period, with investors sending shares down 7% after hours. (2/9p)
