HITS 25th Photo

A JIVE $HORT STORY: HITS’ 25th anniversary year continues as we mark Barry Weiss’ exit this week from RCA/Jive Label Group, where he started almost 30 years ago. Here’s a vintgage 1990 pic of Oaktown rapper Too $hort receiving a gold plaque for his album Short Dog in the House, as Barry and Skip Miller do the honors. Barry still sported his modified Jewfro, as $hort tried to convince him to dub himself Wei$$. At least Ke$ha took his advice. After 25 years, who else is around to remember this crap? (3/4p)
