MMJ giving away live tracks

FIVE LIVE FREEBIES: My Morning Jacket is offering a series of weekly track giveaways on its website leading up to the release of the first single from the band’s sixth studio album, Circuital (ATO) on April 12. Recorded last October during a five-night, one-album-per-night stand at N.Y.'s Terminal 5, the downloads will consist of one song from each of the band's five LPs. The first freebie, "Butch Cassidy," originally appeared on MMJ's 1999 debut, The Tennesse Fire. Tracked in the gymnasium of a Louisville chuch, the new Circuital was co-produced by frontman Jim James and the awesomely talented Tucker Martine, who started the project immediately after helming The DecemberistsThe King Is Dead in an Oregon barn.
