DON’T STOP CONCEIVIN’: Journey will follow up their 2008 platinum album Revelation (their first with frontman Arnel Pineda) with yet another Walmart exclusive release, Eclipse, hitting May 24, with Frontiers Records handling the European release beginning June 3. The band will tour behind the album with Foreigner and “special guest” Night Ranger, starting with a July 21 stadium date in Salt Lake City. “I'm in love with this record, which I haven't said about one of our albums for a long time,” Said Neal Schon in the press release. "It's a rock record and it sounds amazing." In a recent interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jonathan Cain described Eclipse as "a concept record with some spiritual themes to it...pretty tough, hard-hitting stuff. We just felt like it was time to send a message to the world about how we feel about life in general." (3/10a)
