Duran Duran Unstaged on Vevo

BOYS ON FILM: Vevo will present Duran Duran in concert live from the Mayan Theatre in L.A. on March 23 at 10 p.m. (ET)/7 pm. (PT), the day after the band’s 13th studio album, All You Need Is Now, comes out on S-Curve Records. The entire show will be streamed at www.YouTube.com/DuranDuranVevo. The American Express-sponsored “Unstaged” event, directed by David Lynch, follows similar performances by Arcade Fire (directed by Terry Gilliam), John Legend and the Roots (directed by Spike Lee) and Sugarland. Tickets for the show sold out in under five minutes. Said Lynch: “The idea is to try and create on the fly, layers of images permeating Duran Duran on the stage. A world of experimentation and hopefully some happy accidents. And I get to meet Simon LeBon.” (3/14p)
