OBEY THE LAW: The first single, “Starships and Apocalypse,” from veteran San Diego band Unwritten Law’s sixth studio album, Swan, which comes out tomorrow, has just premiered on MTV as part of its Indie Music Month. It’s a performance clip, taking place at perhaps the seediest underground club ever, about a fast-talking femme fatale with a penchant for leather who knows just the right ways to lose control. The video's sex appeal is undeniable, thanks to lead singer Scott Russo’s shirtless appearance as he belts out the refrain, “Take my hand, off we go/To La La Land.” (3/28p)
