Taste of Hope raises $260k

HOPE FLOATS: The fifth annual Taste for Hope event raised more than $260,000 for City of Hope this week. Among the 350-plus attendees were Steve Bartels, Tom Corson, Peter Gray, Richard Palmese, Tom Poleman, L.A. Reid, Barry Weiss and Carrie Underwood. The event was held at L.A.’s Three Sixty and was sponsored by Mediabase. “The evening showcased the tremendous support for City of Hope and its dedication to finding a cure and prevention for cancer and other devastating diseases,” said Mediabase EVP Alissa Pollack, who chaired the Taste of Hope event. “I’m personally moved by the way the industry comes together to help quickly accelerate advanced research to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.” Kudos to all concerned.
