BMI HONORS ARNOLD: David Arnold will receive BMI’s Richard Kirk Award for outstanding career achievement at the perf rights org’s annual Film & Television Awards, slated for May 18 at L.A.’s Beverly Wilshire Hotel, which will salute the composers of the past year's top-grossing films, top-rated prime-time network television series and highest-ranking cable network programs. BMI President/CEO Del Bryant and VP Film/TV Relations Doreen Ringer Ross will host the ceremony. Arnold joins previous winners such as Rachel Portman, Alan Silvestri, David Newman, Thomas Newman, Jerry Goldsmith, Michael Kamen, Mark Mothersbaugh, Danny Elfman, Alan Menken, Mike Post, Lalo Schifrin, John Barry and John Williams.
