Apple has another record-breaking quarter

For some historical perspective, the tech giant’s revenue has been accelerating every quarter year over year since September 2009. As for the specifics, Apple's fiscal Q2 profit was $6 billion, up 95%, while revenue surged to a staggering $24.67 billion, an 83% increase, putting the company on track to hit the $100 billion annual revenue mark this year. The company also continued to add to its coffers with $65.8 billion cash, a $6.1 billion increase from Q1. Shares are up 3% on the day to $373 as of 12:11 EDT. (4/21a)
