Weird Al Gets Gaga
WEIRDER THAN GAGA: "Weird Al" Yankovic has just received approval from Lady Gaga for "Perform This Way," his parody of "Born This Way." Yankovic posted the song on the Internet after it was initially nixed by Gaga's management, which admitted it never sent the parody to the artist for approval. Blogged Al: "Gaga loves the song...I'm thrilled on many levels to hear this, because 1) I truly respect and admire Gaga as an artist and it pained me to think of her as having less tghan a great sense of humor, and 2) it means I GET TO PUT OUT MY ALBUM." He has also promised to donate all proceeds from the song and music video to the Human Rights Campaign. (4/21p)
