SiriusXM Q1 Results

SIRIUSXM BUSINESS: Satellite radio company SiriusXM’s Q1 results include revenue of $724 million, up 9% over Q1 2010’s $664 million, and adjusted EBITDA of $181 million, up 15% from $158 million in a similar period last year. Strong auto sales drove net subscriber additions to 373k, up 118% from 171k last year. As of March 31, subscirbers were at 20.56m, up 9% from the 19m subscribers at this time last year. "Our first quarter results have put us on track to attain our full year goals for subscriber, revenue, and adjusted EBITDA growth," said CEO Mel Karmazin. “And we owe it all to Sal and Richard's prank phone calls.” (5/3a)
