The Voice rating increases in week two

THE VOICE THAT ROARED: NBC’s entry in the music-contest sweepstakes became by the first new network show this season to increase its ratings in week two. The Voice made a 12% jump in the all-important 18-49 demo Tuesday night with a 5.7 rating, compared to a 5.1 for last week’s premiere. The only other show regularly hitting a rating that high is—that’s right—American Idol. Whaddaya know. (5/6a)
