MTV's Gabriel Aron Ben-Meir murdered

A PLEA FOR HELP: In an incomprehensible act, MTV talent and music coordinator Gabriel Aron Ben-Meir was shot in the back of the head as he walked to his Mid-Wilshire home early Sunday. As of Monday night, no suspects had been identified by the LAPD, nor had any possible motive been determined. Last night, his sister, artist manager Alexis Ben-Meir, issued an appeal to the public for information leading to the apprehension of the killer. “We are all in terrible shock and would appreciate anyone with any information regarding his final hours to come forward,” she wrote in an email to the L.A. Times. “He loved his job and was more passionate about music than anyone I have ever met. He was not only my brother but my best friend. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and co-workers." Anyone with information is asked to call (877) LAPD-24-7.
