Function (X) Hires Four

FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION (X): Robert F. X. Sillerman’s newly launched digital media and entertainment company Function (X), which he formed in February from the nearly defunt Gateway Industries for digital and mobile initiatives, has hired four industry veterans, including former Interscope Chief Marketing Officer Chris Stephenson, who takes a similar post; Gilt Groupe Chief Architect Geir Magnusson as Chief Technology Officer; Ticketmaster EVP Business Development Greg Consiglio as Head of Biz Dev; and KickApps SVP Product Mgmt. Mike Sommers as Head of Product. Stephenson was also GM Global Marketing for Microsoft, SVP Marketing for House of Blues; and SVP Marketing for MTV and VH1 based in London. (5/16a)
