Monkeys #1 in U.K.

MONKEYS SEE, MONKEYS DO: Arctic Monkeys scored their fourth consecutive chart-topping debut in the U.K. when their new Domino album Suck It And See bowed at #1 on the sales chart, selling 82k copies. It's only the second time in U.K. chart history that a band scored four consecutive #1 debuts, with the first being Keane. The Monkeys' debut ended Lady Gaga's rule with Interscope/Universal’s Born This Way after two weeks, which fell to #3 as Adele's 21 (XL Recordings) held firm at # 2, her previous set 19 falling #3-5. Eleven-year-old America's Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho debuted at #4 with Syco Music/Sony Music’s Dream With Me. (6/13a)
