Will J. Lo Return to "Idol"?

IS THERE ROOM FOR J. LO? Jennifer Lopez’s career was resurrected by her appearance as a judge on American Idol, but she’s now balking at returning, despite contract talks that could pay her $20 million, about $8 million more than the $12 she made this year, which included other Fox projects. Lopez signed for one year, while Steven Tyler inked a three-year deal for a reported $6 million annually, according to the N.Y. Post. Lopez is already teaming up with husband Marc Anthony and Idol creator Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment for Q'Viva: The Chosen, a new talent reality show to be sold in Latin American countries with talks under way to find a U.S. broadcaster. Fuller is said to be taking a bigger hand in J. Lo's career alongside her current manager, Benny Medina. After her last movie, the 2010 CBS Films release, The Back-Up Plan, which grossed only $37 million, Lopez will star in Lionsgate’s baby-themed movie, What To Expect, based on the pregnancy bible.
