VEVO, AOL Music Team on "Sessions"
VIVA LE VEVO/AOL: VEVO will distribute AOL Music’s new Sessions + 1 series on its platform, which includes mobile and tablet apps, connected TV apps and syndication partners. The program will feature live performances from AOL's studios and other locations, with "surprise performance elements like never-before-performed songs, acoustic sets, special guest performers, cover songs, or live premieres of entire albums." The first Sessions +1 will feature Alicia Keys live from the Beacon Theater in N.Y. this Thursday (6/30) at 9:30 p.m. (ET), performing her debut album, Songs in A Minor. The live stream will be broadcast on VEVO and at AOL Music's "Sessions" page with the archived performance available on-demand at both. (6/28a)
