EMI Auction Not Clear-Cut

A WEMI WAY? Perhaps the EMI-to-Len Blavatnik/WMG deal isn’t quite as open-and-shut as most observers believe. One of the companies involved in the auction insists that Citigroup is going through due diligence with other potential buyers as well, which includes both UMG and Sony Music as well as the Gores brothers, Live Nation, Ronald Perelman and KKR/BMG Rights Management, among others.
