Times on the Radio

ON THE RADIO: Former L.A. Times pop music critic Robert Hilburn and contributor Kevin Bronson will join former KCRW PD Nic Harcourt on Cal State Northridge’s KCSN-FM under new PD Sky Daniels, the veteran programmer and label exec who will also take an on-air shift. Harcourt’s Connections will run 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Rock ‘n’ Roll Times with Robert Hilburn will air at 6 p.m on Sundays and Bronson’s Buzz Bands is scheduled for midnight to 1 a.m. on Sundays, starting this weekend. Daniels calls the Triple A-oriented format “smart rock,” which will encompass Top 40k, Americana, alternative, country, R&B and hip-hop. (7/11a)
