Chili Peppers on Tap

CHILI TODAY HOT TAMALE: Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to release “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” their first new single in four years, to Rock and Alternative radio on July 18. The track will be available from all digital retailers the following day, July 19. It’s the first single from the band’s 10th studio album, I’m With You, which comes out on Warner Bros. Records Aug. 30. The band’s last album, Stadium Arcadium, sold 442k in its first week on the way to 2.35 million to date in May, 2006. The group is the #1 Most Played band at Alternative radio, with a total of 11 #1 singles and a combined 81 weeks at #1. Fans that sign up, starting today at the Peppers’ Facebook site, will be notified when the single is available. (7/13p)
