New Lady A LP details

WHO’S THAT LADY? Capitol Nashville/EMI has just broken out the details of the follow-up studio album to Lady Antebellum’s 2010 crossover smash, Need You Now. The new LP, titled Own the Night, scheduled to street Sept. 13, contains 12 songs, 10 written by band members Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and/or Hillary Scott in various combinations. The threesome once again took a coproducer’s credit alongside the returning Paul Worley. Said Haywood, in an apparent effort to make it clear that Lady A is more than an assemblage of good-looking people with purty voices, "We're definitely more in tune with each other musically and personally than ever. It's an exciting place to be. This album was created from the ground up—we are writing these songs, playing these instruments and creating these arrangements. With Own the Night, more than ever before, I think we share a real feeling of accomplishment both as a band and as friends.” AddedKelly, "Our only hope and expectation for this record is that it will build on the first two." First single “Just a Kiss” has entered the Top 10 at Country radio. (7/19a)
