“WINTER” IN SUMMER: All of a sudden, new Bush single “The Sound of Winter” is everywhere. KROQ premiered the track Thursday afternoon, with Gavin Rossdale in studio. He then joined his bandmates to play the outdoor stage on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. "TSOW" will be serviced wide to Rock and Modern Rock radio wide this morning at 9 a.m. PST, which is also the time when EA.com makes the track available as a free download (it’s featured on NHL 2011). The song comes off the group's new album, The Sea of Memories, hitting Sept. 13. Produced by Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Metallica), the LP is the seminal alt band's first studio release in 10 years and the first to be released via Bush's own Zuma Rock Records, through an exclusive partnership with eOne Music. The track is now available at the iTunes Store. (7/22a)
