Google+ expands apps for Apple devices

BEHIND ENEMY LINES: Meanwhile, Google, Apple’s arch rival, has updated Google+ with apps for the iPad and iPod touch. The company had already released a Google+ app for the iPhone. All are available now at iTunes. The software update also enables iOS digital music player fans access to the network. In its first month, Google+ picked up more than 25 million users, making it the fastest-growing social network of all time, according to comScore. (8/10a)
