RED Gains Victory

VICTORY IS RED’S: Tony Brummel’s Chitown-based indie Victory Records extends its long-term physical distribution deal with Bob Morelli’s RED, and now adds digital rights, which were previously at WEA. Said Morelli: “Victory Records has been and continues to be a dominant force in the record business and certainly at RED. I am very pleased with this most recent development and it is a testimony to all of you who work hard each day to achieve success, that we were able to continue and enhance our relationship.” Added Brummel: “Hey Spotify, when are you gonna start doling out advances to the indies?” (8/11p)
