Jani Lane dead

HAIR METAL CASUALTY: Former Warrant frontman Jani Lane was found dead Thursday evening in Woodland Hills, according to the LAPD. Lane, 47, was pronounced dead by Fire Department personnel who responded to a call shortly before 5:30 p.m. in a hotel in the 20100 block of Ventura Blvd. The cause of death was unknown, and the case was turned over to the county coroner's office.
