iPhone will ship 95m in 2011

MORE POPULAR THAN JESUS: Apple could reportedly ship as many as 95 million iPhones in 2011, including 56 million during the second half of the year, Digitimes reported, citing anonymous sources. Apple originally scheduled 50 million iPhones for production, including the 3GS and 4 models, but upped the order total in response to an increased demand. The new iPhone 5 will account for 26 million of the total, though its release date is still anybody’s guess. (8/16a)
