JT intros, plays with FreeSol

SEXY WAS BACK: Justin Timberlake returned to music Wednesday night, if only for a half hour, performing at Southern Hospitality Hell’s Kitchen with Memphis-bred band FreeSol, signed to his Interscope-distribbed Tennman imprint. "I would describe their sound as a fusion of rock, hip-hop, rhythm and blues and soul. It's Memphis," Timberlake told Rollingstone.com. "When I made super pop music, some urban people said, 'I don't listen to that shit, but if I did I'd like these songs.' Now it's okay to like everything." Faces in the crowd (durifully supplied by Page Six) included Amanda Seyfried, Emma Stone (sigh) and two Kardashians, one of them with new hubby Kris Humphries in tow. Oddly, Rollingstone.com didn’t even mention that JT performed; we got that from the always-reliable Page Six, which supplied visual proof (see pic). (9/2/11)
