Murphy to Host Oscars

MURPHY’S LAW: As rumored over the weekend, Eddie Murphy will host the 84th edition of the Academy Awards next February 26. Murphy walked out of the Oscars ceremony in 2007 after losing out as the favorite for Best Supporting Actor for Dreamgirls to Little Miss Sunshine’s Alan Arkin. He was picked by ceremony producer Brett Ratner, who directed him in his upcoming film, Tower Heist. (9/6p)
