George exhibition

HANDLING WITH CARE: The Grammy Museum will debut a new exhibition, George Harrison: Living in the Material World, opening on Oct. 11. It opens a week after HBO premieres Martin Scorsese’s documentary of the same name in two parts on Oct. 5-6, and will be the first major museum exhibition to explore the life and career of the Quiet Beatle. "I’m honored that Olivia Harrison has chosen to work with us to create George Harrison: Living in the Material World,” said Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli. "We are particularly excited to celebrate Harrison’s extraordinary musical legacy with the legions of fans who admire him, as well as to introduce him to a new generation of music lovers.” (9/8a)
