Das Racist Viral Video of the Day

VIRAL VIDEO OF THE DAY: Controversial rap trio Das Racist’s Relax album, on the independent Greedhead label, hits today along with the unedited “director’s cut” video of the song, “Michael Jackson,” with its refrain, “Michael Jackson/A million dollars/You feel me?” The Brooklyn-based rap trio includes Himanshu Suri (Heems), Victor Vazquez (Kool A.D.) and hype man Ashok Kondabolu (Dap), the former two meeting at Wesleyan University in Connecticut (home of fellow weirdoes MGMT), then hooking up with old pal Kondabolu. Suri and Kondabolu are both Indian, while Vazquez is a Jew of Afro-Cuban and Ukrainian descent. (9/13p)
