VEVO Likes Facebook

VEVO LIKES FACEBOOK: VEVO’s latest integration with Facebook includes an app that lets bands and musicians showcase their music, sell albums and merchandise, live stream concerts and collect email addresses from their fans. Said VEVO GM Fred Santarpia: "The key differentiator is that VEVO carries the official music videos. None of the others can offer that as part of their product suite." In addition, users can link their VEVO account to Facebook, enabling them to feature the videos they’ve watched on their Facebook profile, and discover what their friends are watching at the same time. After that, any time they watch a music video on VEVO, it will surface on their Facebook Timeline. (9/22p)
