Morello at Occupy Wall Street Rally
MORELLO RAGES AGAINST THE MACHINE: Wonder which one of your favorite rock stars is getting involved in the Occupy movement? Radical politico and Harvard alum Tom Morello is set to perform an acoustic set at Occupy Wall Street tomorrow (10/13) at 12 noon ET for protestors at Liberty Plaza/Zuccotti Park (near the tall red structure). Over the past weekend, Morello also performed at Occupy Los Angeles. Morello recently released his new album, World Wide Rebel Songs, as well as the Union Town benefit EP which has all profits going to the America Votes Labor Unity Fund via SaveWorkers.org. Union Town was inspired by Tom's performances at the capital in Madison in February of this year in protest of Governor Scott Walker's anti-union bill, and is comprised of pro-union songs. (10/12p)
