ole Acquires Music Box

PUB CRAWLING: Toronto-based indie music publisher ole clear has acquired noted L.A.-based production music company MusicBox, along with its multiple libraries of over 24k tracks. ole clear is one of the world's largest providers of 100% cleared production music in all media. The deal includes ownership in the flagship libraries MusicBox and PromoBox and the rights to represent music tracks in 17 sub-published libraries across the U.S. including Deep East Music, MusicBox Classics, Gourd Music, Hella Good Records, Cue, Urban States America, Private Reserve, Spider Cues, Tread, Vibey Library, Boombox, Camaleon, Epic, Music For Sport, Icon, Ultraphonic, Roar and Hens Teeth Music, among others. The arrangement adds content to MusicBox's U.S. offering of ole clear's Attitude, Nelvana and Masters libraries and moves MusicBox to ole's automated, cloud IT services for a better client tech experience. ole also contributes copyright administration and financial services.
