Zooey Deschanel sings National Anthem at World Series
O SAY CAN YOU SEE ZOOEY? Just as it was gaining some real momentum, Zooey Deschanel’s sitcom New Girl was preempted by the World Series, so Fox had her sing the National Anthem before Game Four Monday night in Arlington. The Series resumes tonight, with the St. Louis Cardinals facing elimination to the Texas Rangers, while Zooey’s series returns next Tuesday night. We’d show you the video, but it was pulled due to a copyright complaint from MLB. (10/26a)
