THE EDGE OF NIGHT: RCA Records chief Peter Edge penned a Travel piece for the N.Y. Times on “Where to Go to Hear Music in 2012,” which ranges from Brooklyn to Paris, London and Jamaica. The U.K. exec’s favorites include the Knitting Factory and the Music Hall of Williamsburg, as well as the Social Club (Paris), the colorfully named Horse Meat Disco (London) and the Fiction Lounge (Kingston).
