EPIC COVERED WITH WALLPAPER: Wallpaper is the latest signing by L.A. Reid and Tricky Stewart to Epic Records. Big congrats to Evan Bogart and Boardwalk Entertainment on the deal. The acts’s debut single, #STUPIDFACEDD,” has cracked the Top 100 at Rhythmic and Top 40 stations, as well as certain Alternative stations, including KPWR, KROQ and KIIS. The YouTube video is over 2 million views to date. The band’s Ricky Reed recently co-wrote and produced Cee Lo Green’s new single, “Anyway.” The video/animated short for “F***ing Best Song Everrr” launched the return of MTV’s Liquid Television, while the group was part of the net's Push and "Artist to Watch 2012" campaigns, with song placement in shows like Jersey Shore and Real World. The band is also part of the channel's Hype Production Music initiative, a joint venture between MTV and Extreme Music, a hybrid production and licensing partnership for new and developing acts.
