MARKETING FREE AGENT: Longtime label marketing exec Emily Cagan has left her post as Director of Marketing/Product Management at UMe, where she spearheaded catalog and new album campaigns for Elton John, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Rick Springfield, Bryan Adams, Styx and Nine Inch Nails, among others. She was also an integral part of the Now marketing and development team and recently worked on new releases by Alice Cooper (his best-selling debut ever) and Chris Cornell’s live album.
