DeGraw Strikes Platinum

DEGRAW NABS PLATINUM: RCA Records recording artist Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You,” the first single from his third studio album, Sweeter, has struck platinum. The track, co-written with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, just hit # 1 at Hot AC, is now #10 at Top 40, #12 at AC and #15 on the Hot 100 sales chart. DeGraw previously earned platinum for his 2003 debut album, Chariot, and its three hit singles in “I Don’t Want to Be,” “Follow Through” and the title track. His self-titled second album debuted at #7 on the album chart. The singer/songwriter just wrapped a U.S. tour and is headed to Europe next month after surviving a brutal beating on the streets of the Lower East Side of New York last year. (1/24a)
