GLASSNOTE’S DAUGHTER: Daniel Glass’ Glassnote Entertainment Group is at it again, inking London-based band Daughter, which includes vocalist/guitarist Elena Tonra, guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella, who write “dark, ethereal and hauntingly beautiful” songs described by Mojo as “unflinchingly honest and hugely captivating.” The band’s self-released EP, His Young Heart, came out in April 2011. In August, the breathtaking “Landfill” was hand-picked by iTunes for their “Spotlight” feature. The band is currently preparing to make their North American debut, releasing a new EP, The Wild Youth, on Glassnote this month. The band will play select dates along the East Coast before heading to Austin for SXSW. (2/2p)
